This month will be the beginning of a new sermon series entitled "The Seeds of Life."  Spiritual growth is not instantaneous.  While God is the superintendent of both individual and church growth, we are required through faith to participate in the process of growth.  Our participation is often described in Scripture as the process of sowing and reaping.  We sow to the Spirit to reap the fruit of the Spirit.  We sow by faith and God grants the increase.  God also provides for us the "seeds" of spiritual growth opportunities.  He provides seeds that produces various kinds of growth.  During this series we shall expound upon seed provisions that God gives to us, such as His promises as seeds of hope, His purposes as seeds of new life, His providence of mercy and truth as the seeds of our salvation, and much more.

S.O.A.P.: A Daily Bible Reading Plan & Devotional begins April 1st

S for Scripture: Take your time reading today’s Scripture and allow God to speak to you. When you are done, look for a verse that particularly spoke to you, and write it in your journal.

O for Observation: What do you think God is saying to you in this Scripture? Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you and reveal Jesus to you. Paraphrase and write this verse down in your own words.

A for Application: Personalize what you have read and write down how it applies to your life. It may be instruction, encouragement, revelation of a promise, or correction for an area of your life.

P for Prayer: This can be as simple as asking God to help you use this Scripture, or it may be greater insight on what He is revealing to you. Remember, prayer is a two way conversation.
