Keynote Speaker: Professor James L. Taylor, University of San Francisco

James Lance Taylor is author of the book, Black Nationalism in the United States: From Malcolm X to Barack Obama (2011). Between 2009 and 2011, he served as President of the National Conference of Black Political Scientists (NCOBPS), the largest organization of African American, African, and Afro Caribbean political scientists in theUnited States.  He is associate professor and newly elected Chair of the Department of Politics at the University of San Francisco.
